The Touch Sight camera is designed to be held against the forehead -the camera doesn’t have an LCD, but instead displays a three-dimensional representation of the image on a built-in Braille screen and records three seconds of audio to assist users in locating and managing shots.

Kuwait is planning on creating a huge rail network that would link the Middle East with China. The railway will connect places such as Kuwait, Damascus, Baghdad and Iran with cities in China and in between, with the hub starting in Subiya. Costing about $132 billion this is going to be HUGE.

This concept USB watch, dubbed “Timeless” is a simple digital watch, with an internal battery that’s charged when you plug it into a USB socket. And then the same USB socket plugs back into the watch face, secured with PCB mount-style latches, with the ribbon cable as a strap. It’s a concept… but I know I would buy one in a heartbeat.

The Tri-Solar LED Flashlight should handle most minor lighting needs. The unit can operate with one LED on, three LEDs on or all three LEDs flashing. It also has 3 solar panels, to recharge the light faster, and they all fit into the same space. Pretty nifty.

Michael Arrington, of Silicon Valley blog TechCrunch, has decided that he wants to create a $200 net tablet with a screen as thin as a MacBook Air. The Mac-like design will have just one button, turning it on and off. Running Firefox over Wi-Fi, he wants it to have half a gig of RAM and a 4GB solid-state hard drive. Bring it on, I know I want one.

ARGO Medical Technologies’ ReWalk has been out a few months now. Hailed as a “quasi-robotic ambulation system,” the wearable device was specifically created to assist those with lower-limb disabilities and give them back upright mobility. One particular individual relies on the ReWalk to stand up and move about after being stricken to a wheelchair for 20 years.
Korean designers Sungchul Yang and Woonghee Han have put together Aqua. It’s a design concept for a versatile one-person runabout, equally at home skimming along the water’s surface or plunging deep beneath the waves. The dolphin-shaped design was nifty enough to win a 2008 Silver Idea Design Award.

This collapsing Foldoub caravan concept by Dutch designer Niels Caris gives you a lot more space with a lot less to tow. While the frame of the camper is made of lightweight, flexible materials, it all folds into a hard shell for transport.
